Facebook is probably their most used along with instagram which is something generation X which is a group that they should be aiming to make their target audience, they don't use facebook as a platform very much. Umbro seems to be the most active on this which is not going to attract certain generations. They receive a lot of different comments and reactions on facebook from both older and younger generations and the more negative comments come from the younger generations.

Umbro's twitter is probably the least active out of all their social medias. They tend not to post of there unless its the launch of a new kit or a release of some sort. They tend to retweet others tweets, their ratio from followers to the likes, retweets and comments they receive on their tweets is a big difference, especially compared to competitors such as Nike and Adidas. What they tend to do on twitter is they wish footballers that have worn their kit a happy birthday, this is a successful tweet because followers like this if they are a fan of the footballer and not of the brand which I think Umbro should be expressing their brand and people who have represented them.

Umbro is most active on instagram, this is something they post at least twice a day. When they post "Fashion related posts some of them tend to get more likes that "Football" related posts which should shout out to Umbro off what they should focus on but they are doing the opposite. They tend to focus on new kit releases etc., they received comments on this post of Umbro fashion in France saying "Why only in France?"
and "When is this coming to New York?"
this is showing that the public want this type of fashion in their own country. This is why I think that if Umbro focused on what the public wanted then they'd be considered a "cool" brand but currently they sit on the comment which states them as an "outdated" brand.

For Umbros most recent youtube video which is releasing Jamaica's new kits, some of the comments on this video was a mixed review and also commented on previous kits that Umbro had made, one comment that was said was "the last one was pretty awful". This video received 5,955 views and just over 10 comments, this is such a difference to what competitor Nike's youtube videos where their most recent videos get up to 27,678,000 views, this just shows where Umbro are compared to Nike.
Umbro's appearance on youtube is not very consistent, they post on average about 3 times a month, but from November 2018 to currently they haven't posted. They tend to post where they reveal new kits and boots, by reading the comments on these posts the general public aren't very interested in what they have to post compared to similar peers that watch Nike's videos.
